Britehouse, an accredited SAP hosting partner in South Africa, needed a secure, flexible, and cost-effective platform to support Swicon360’s new managed SAP HCM service. The challenge was to deliver enterprise-grade SAP functionality to smaller and mid-sized companies, while protecting sensitive data and keeping the service affordable and easy to scale.

Britehouse chose SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and the Novell Compliance Management Platform to build the solution. SUSE enabled a stable, high-performance virtualized SAP environment with lower total cost of ownership than Windows, while Novell added strong identity, access, and compliance controls. The result was a low-cost, highly available platform with auditable security, rapid provisioning, and flat-fee pricing per employee, helping Swicon360 become Africa’s first SAP-BPO provider.
