Altran, a global engineering consulting company, needed a secure and flexible way to manage access to its electronic résumé application so client managers could quickly find the right consultants based on skills and experience. Working with Suse, Altran chose SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and Access Manager to protect the application and integrate with its existing Microsoft Active Directory environment.

Suse helped Altran deploy Access Manager on Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines running SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, creating a cloud-based authentication gateway with low-touch administration. The solution delivered a highly available, secure, and scalable platform with flexible monthly pricing, eliminated the need for dedicated hardware and much of the firewall/server administration, and made it easier to keep systems updated and manage the environment remotely.
