GetResponse is a leading email marketing provider used by over 350,000 customers worldwide. While Google Analytics showed who visited the site and what they did, it couldn’t capture qualitative insights—what users think of the product, which features they need, or what problems they face—information GetResponse needed to tailor its product and remove obstacles.
Using Survicate’s targeted website surveys, GetResponse launched a multi-step poll that opened with an explanation and reward, then offered a useful guide on building mailing lists and asked focused questions about important or missing features and top pain points. The campaign gathered more than 1,800 responses (>2% of visitors), allowed calculation of Net Promoter Score, revealed that many respondents are sole users at their companies, and generated concrete ideas for product development and issue resolution.
