Special Needs School Lets Kids Create a Mobile Quiz on iPad

Borough Elementary School, a special needs middle and high school in Queens, wanted a way to engage disabled eight- and nine-year-old students and make classroom work more interactive on iPads. The school adopted Survey Anyplace’s mobile quiz/survey tool to let students create their own quizzes using simple, template-based creation on tablets.

Using Survey Anyplace, students added photos, audio and video to custom quizzes and easily shared them without installing an app; responses uploaded automatically and quizzes were simple to swipe through on an iPad. The solution boosted motivation, collaboration and pride—students invited parents and peers to take their quizzes, teachers saw higher engagement in topics from autism to local history, and the tool became a regular classroom aid that Borough Elementary School recommends to other educators.
