KAABOO Del Mar needed a way to capture rich, experience-driven feedback from festivalgoers about food, art, spa and music without using a bland survey. Leah Taylor, Director of Guest Services, partnered with SurveyAnyplace to build an interactive, branded festival survey that would feel custom yet fit a limited budget.
SurveyAnyplace delivered a playful, mobile-friendly survey with a custom look, digital scratch-off prizes and iPad deployment by a team of “Happiness Gurus.” The approach drove a 69% completion rate and gathered 1,700 high-value responses on-site (versus a 2,500 impression goal), gave clear staffing and programming insights for future events, and proved easy to use and adaptable for other activations.
