Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative Makes a Successful Switch to SurvalentONE ADMS

Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative, a large Texas utility serving 96,000 meters across 14 counties, needed to replace an aging SCADA system with an advanced distribution management system that could support stronger DMS capabilities and self-healing feeders. After an earlier ADMS choice failed to deliver key functionality, including FLISR, Bluebonnet turned to Survalent and its SurvalentONE ADMS platform.

Survalent implemented SurvalentONE ADMS over six months, adding FLISR, WebSurv, SurvCentral, device templates, MultiSpeak integration, and operator training to help Bluebonnet improve outage response and operations. The utility reported faster power restoration, better fault location and load forecasting, more efficient substation work through remote access, and six fewer servers needed to run the system, while describing the solution as stable, easy to use, and a good value.
