The challenge was to transform Plantaform's innovative fogponics technology into a sophisticated, user-friendly consumer product that could successfully be brought to market.

SurfaceID provided comprehensive mechanical engineering and industrial design services to develop the product. Their solution involved integrating complex technology into a compact, premium appliance and ensuring the physical user experience was simple and intuitive. As a result of this collaboration, the Plantaform Smart Indoor Garden received the CES 2025 Best of Innovation Award, recognizing its design and innovation.
