A SURF Case Study
Hanze University of Applied Sciences, along with other universities, faced a challenge in interdisciplinary healthcare education. While databases for measurement instruments existed, there was no central place for lecturers to share and access open digital educational resources on topics like meaningful measurement, ethics, and healthcare technology. To address this, they partnered with SURF to develop a solution using its Open and Online Education grant and resources.
With support from SURF, the project team created ZIeZO meten, a publicly accessible repository of open digital educational resources. SURF provided essential tools, step-by-step plans, and checklists to guide the development process. The solution resulted in a collection of over 70 resources that support interdisciplinary education, foster knowledge sharing, and help students learn a common language for collaborative healthcare practice.
