Case Study: Cairns Indigenous Art Fair achieves greater collaboration and transparency with SurePact

A SurePact Case Study

Preview of the Cairns Indigenous Art Fair Case Study

Australia’s premier Indigenous art fair uses SurePact to enhance collaboration and transparency

Cairns Indigenous Art Fair (CIAF), a not‑for‑profit that promotes and sells work by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, faced a transparency and collaboration gap in tracking grants, budgets, milestones and the many internal and external stakeholders involved in its annual event. General Manager Darrell Harris selected SurePact to provide an integrated solution for grant and project oversight.

SurePact’s grant management, project management and contract delivery modules were implemented and administered by CIAF Lead Project Officer Megsi O’Toole, who trained staff to use the platform. Within a month teams were tracking projects day‑to‑day, gaining a single view of all grant income and milestones, and clarifying roles; the system is being rolled out to hundreds of external contractors and partners ahead of the 17–22 August 2021 event, delivering streamlined workflows, robust audit trails and real‑time reporting for improved transparency, accountability and workload management.
