The Shire of Dardanup, a medium-sized local government in Western Australia, had an existing open source server virtualization environment built on legacy infrastructure. After a new SharePoint farm caused performance issues and its enterprise storage system was nearing end of support, the Shire decided to move to the Nutanix Enterprise Cloud Platform and needed to migrate workloads to AHV.

The Shire of Dardanup engaged Sureline Systems and used SUREedge Migrator to manage a staged migration from any hypervisor to any hypervisor. With remote support from Sureline Systems, the Shire migrated all of its virtual servers seamlessly to Nutanix with AHV, and IT Manager Stephen Eaton said the support was first class and technical issues were resolved quickly.
