Reducing accident frequency and protecting Krispy Kreme’s fleet distribution network

Krispy Kreme UK, the subsidiary of the global doughnut and coffeehouse chain, needed better visibility into driver behavior and road incidents across its delivery fleet. Although it already used vehicle tracking for speeding and harsh driving events, it wanted a vehicle camera solution to capture HD video and supporting data for collisions, near misses, and other incidents to improve driver safety, claims handling, and duty of care.

Krispy Kreme partnered with SureCam and deployed a network-connected forward-facing camera across its UK delivery operation, with live alerts, remote management, and an online portal for real-time incident visibility. The rollout included a four-week trial, and the results were strong: an 80% drop in incident and accident frequency, over 40% reduction in paid motor fleet claims in six months, and 100% real-time visibility of collisions and harsh driving events.
