G4S, the world's leading global security company, sought to enhance the safety of its lone patrol drivers and reduce high vehicle damage rates across its fleet. The existing incident reporting process lacked immediate, high-definition video evidence. To address this challenge, G4S partnered with vendor SureCam to implement its connected vehicle camera system.

SureCam worked with G4S to customize and install a dual-camera solution, prioritizing high-quality footage even in dark conditions and adjusting trigger levels for incidents. Following an educational roll-out for drivers, the trial in a high-incident area yielded positive results. SureCam's implementation led to a reduction in the number and severity of incidents, while unexplained vehicle damage almost disappeared.
