BERU AG, a leading automotive supplier known for cold start technology for diesel engines, needed a comprehensive supplier portal to standardize and bundle all supplier-related processes. The company wanted a scalable, economically viable alternative to an in-house build and chose SupplyOn’s standardized portal solution to support its procurement and supplier management strategy.

SupplyOn implemented the portal in stages, starting with internal process analysis and early supplier involvement, then rolling it out to strategic suppliers. Around 50 suppliers now use SupplyOn with BERU, speeding up delivery note handling, reducing manual work and errors through barcode-based and digital processes, improving data quality and planning accuracy, and enabling automatic advice of credit on goods receipt.
