Ahrefs Selects Supermicro AMD Servers to Expand Offerings and Deliver More Optimized Results

Ahrefs, a Singapore-based SEO toolset provider, faced the challenge of scaling its backend infrastructure to maintain low latency responses and expand its service offerings as its business and customer base grew substantially. To satisfy stringent SLAs and process an increasing amount of web data, the company needed servers with significantly more computing power, cores, and memory than their existing hardware could provide.

Supermicro provided a solution with over six hundred of its AMD-based AS -2125HS-TNR Hyper servers, each equipped with dual AMD EPYC 9004 series processors, 1.5TB of memory, and 120TB of storage. The implementation of this new generation of servers from Supermicro immediately decreased response times for customers, allowing Ahrefs to deliver more optimized SEO results faster. This performance boost also enabled the company to offer more services to its customers, which subsequently increased its revenue.
