IKEA showcases Climate Positive exhibition in 9 days with Superflux

IKEA commissioned Superflux to create an exhibition that would bring to life its commitment to becoming a climate positive business. The challenge was to effectively communicate the scale and depth of this work across IKEA's entire value chain to a global audience during the critical COP26 climate conference.

Superflux developed and produced the "Assembling our Future" exhibition, leveraging their expertise in speculative design and experiential futures. The installation showcased IKEA's climate actions across multiple scales, from products for the home to planetary systems. The Superflux exhibition was highly successful, selling out all access tickets for the duration of COP26 and generating positive feedback that highlighted surprise at the comprehensiveness of IKEA's efforts, inspiring dialogue on climate action from governments to individual citizens.
