IKEA showcases 6 climate solutions with Superflux at New York Climate Week

IKEA, through its parent company Ingka Group, commissioned the design studio Superflux to create a compelling exhibition for New York Climate Week 2024. Their challenge was to catalyze transformative climate action by moving beyond talk to showcase tangible, positive business initiatives, creating a platform that would inspire and hold companies accountable.

Superflux conceived, designed, and produced a fully circular and modular exhibition. The solution featured adaptable islands made from sustainable materials that displayed real-world climate projects, allowing visitors to explore actionable solutions. This design embodied the principles of reduction and reuse it promoted, ensuring a low environmental impact and creating a lasting physical legacy for the Action Speaks movement, successfully turning IKEA's vision into a tangible and inspiring experience.
