The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) faced a challenge with its online ticketing system, where its most dedicated super fans, the season bookers, were taking an average of 30 minutes to purchase their large orders of 20 or more concert tickets. This complex, multi-click process was a significant pain point. The vendor, Supercool Design, worked to improve this user journey on the CBSO's website, which utilized the Spektrix ticketing system.

Supercool Design created and implemented a new feature called Quick Book. This solution presented a simplified list of all season concerts on a single page and allowed users to add the same ticket types to multiple events with just one click, drastically reducing the number of steps required. The results were immediate and substantial; one customer successfully booked tickets for 20 different concerts in just 10 minutes, a significant improvement from the previous 30-minute average, and the CBSO received excellent feedback on the new, streamlined process.
