Live Nation enables a 44,000-strong workforce to make purchases through their Shopify Plus stores with ease

Live Nation, a major entertainment company, faced challenges in managing employee access and content across its vast network of over 200 Shopify Plus stores. Their cumbersome processes for user account management through Okta SSO and manual updates for artist store content were inefficient and time-consuming for their 44,000-person workforce. They engaged Sunrise Integration to develop a custom solution.

Sunrise Integration implemented a two-part solution: a custom middleware for a seamless SAML-based SSO integration between Live Nation's HR system, Okta, and Shopify, and a custom-built app called Site Manager Central. This app acts as a centralized CMS, allowing Live Nation to push content updates to all its stores instantly. The results streamlined onboarding and offboarding, improved security, and dramatically reduced the manual effort required to maintain consistency across stores. Following this success, Sunrise Integration continues to partner with Live Nation on future ecommerce projects.
