Pacific Gourmet, a gourmet food distributor, faced the challenge of pivoting from a purely B2B model to a B2C one during the COVID-19 pandemic. Their existing website was not equipped to handle direct consumer sales or display different pricing structures. They partnered with Sunrise Integration, which had previously built a custom Shopify app for them, to address this holistic business transformation.

Sunrise Integration upgraded Pacific Gourmet's custom Shopify application to display B2C pricing publicly and wholesale pricing only to logged-in business accounts. They also redesigned the website to be more user-friendly for retail customers. As a result, Sunrise Integration helped Pacific Gourmet achieve significant gains, including an 11% increase in total sales, a 13% higher conversion rate, and sales jumps of up to 175% for their top products shortly after launch.
