Solarwork powers 6.5 MW hybrid solar park with Sungrow

Sungrow partnered with Solarwork, a renewable energy group in the Nordic region, to develop one of Sweden’s first hybrid solar parks. The challenge was to integrate a large solar PV system with battery storage in a Nordic climate, requiring a highly reliable solution that could manage complex system integration and deliver seamless grid support under tight timelines.

The solution implemented by Sungrow included deploying 20 SG250HX string inverters and the PowerTitan energy storage system with liquid cooling. This AC-coupled setup ensured modularity and resilience. The project is expected to generate 7 GWh annually, setting a new standard for hybrid renewable energy in Sweden and providing reliable electricity during peak hours to reduce fossil fuel reliance.
