SEP Energia S.r.l powers a warehouse 24/7 with Sungrow's 68.2 kWp ESS project

SEP Energia S.r.l, a warehouse operator in Italy, faced the challenge of ensuring a 24/7 energy supply for its power-intensive refrigeration units. Their existing AC-coupled system was insufficient, and spatial constraints made conventional containerized energy storage solutions impractical. Sungrow provided a solution using its SG50CX inverter, SH15T units, and SBH100 battery storage system.

Sungrow's integrated PV and storage solution allowed the customer to fully utilize rooftop solar and store excess energy. The modular and stackable design of the Sungrow system fit into the compact warehouse, and the setup supports future expansion. This project became Europe's first successful test plant for Logger control of SHT+CX models, significantly enhancing solar energy efficiency and providing reliable, round-the-clock power.
