Schmees deploys 480 kW ultra-fast charging with Sungrow

Schmees, a German renewable energy pioneer, sought a high-power, scalable, and reliable charging solution to support heavy-duty commercial vehicles and passenger EVs at its logistics hub. The challenge was to deliver ultra-fast charging without compromising operational reliability under continuous heavy load. To meet this need, Sungrow deployed its IDC480E ultra-fast DC charger.

Sungrow implemented a 480 kW charging station featuring four liquid-cooled terminals, enabling simultaneous high-power charging for both trucks and passenger cars. The solution, leveraging advanced isolated air-cooling technology, guarantees safe, efficient, and stable performance, minimizing fleet downtime and reducing maintenance. By combining Sungrow’s high-power charging with its own renewable energy, Schmees achieves greener operations and maximizes carbon reduction.
