Gulf delivers 531.82 MW solar-plus-storage project with Sungrow

Gulf, a major energy company, faced the challenge of delivering Southeast Asia's most ambitious integrated solar-plus-storage project on a strict deadline. To meet this goal, they partnered with Sungrow to supply large-scale PV inverters and a battery energy storage system (BESS).

Sungrow assembled a dedicated cross-border team that worked around the clock to ensure the 531.82 MW PV and 209.15 MWh BESS project was successfully commissioned and entered commercial operation on schedule by December 2024. This successful delivery has laid a strong foundation for a continued partnership, with Sungrow set to supply Gulf with 3.5 GWp of PV inverters and energy storage systems over the next seven years.
