Elin A.Ş powers a 70 MW hybrid project with Sungrow

The customer, Elin A.Ş, faced significant challenges in developing a 70 MW hybrid renewables plant in Balikesir, Turkey, due to rough terrain and the complexities of integrating solar and wind technologies. Partnering with vendor Sungrow, the project required a robust and flexible system to ensure stable grid integration and optimized energy production. The solution implemented centered on Sungrow's 1+X modular inverters. Specifically, sixteen SG4400UD inverters were strategically distributed and paired with Sungrow combiner boxes, with their modular design and multiple MPPTs allowing seamless adaptation to the challenging site conditions.

This Sungrow solution enabled the successful deployment of the hybrid power plant, which is expected to generate over 117 GWh of clean energy annually. The project maximizes efficiency and provides a scalable model for future hybrid energy developments, marking a significant step forward in Turkey's renewable energy transition.
