Phillips reaches 1 trillion downloads with Sunflower Lab

The customer, Philips, sought to create an innovative and fun mobile application that would allow users to interact with light shows. They partnered with the vendor Sunflower Lab for UI/UX design and product development services to build a native iOS application using Swift and Kotlin.

Sunflower Lab developed the LightPlay app, which included a backend solution with a FIFO algorithm to manage and approve user light show requests in order. This empowered users to select colors, host events, and share their experiences on social media. The solution was a tremendous success, achieving over one trillion downloads and receiving positive user feedback for its interactive and engaging functions.
