One of the top five U.S. property & casualty insurers, serving more than 16 million households, partnered with SundaySky to improve online auto-quote completion and customer acquisition. The insurer’s challenge was to re-engage site abandoners and drive quote submissions while meeting a target cost per quote (CPQ).
The company deployed SundaySky’s SmartVideo Advertising—personalized 15–30 second in-stream pre-rolls bought programmatically and tailored by on-site behavior, region/state/city and other signals, with matching landing pages. The program produced a 13% lift in conversions versus non-viewers and achieved a CPQ 43% below target; after three months of algorithmic optimization it more than doubled quote conversions, cut CPQ by 67% and increased ad CTR by 80%.
