Atlantis Paradise Island, a luxury resort in The Bahamas, sought to heighten guest anticipation and engagement before arrival and to increase revenue per booking by improving its pre-arrival experience. The resort’s goal was to make pre-arrival communications more compelling and actionable so guests would plan and purchase add-ons, dining and upgrades before they arrived.

Atlantis partnered with SundaySky to embed personalized SmartVideo into its pre-arrival email lifecycle at three timed touchpoints (7 days after booking, 14 days and 7 days before arrival), using guest segmentation and real‑time content variations. Versus a control group, the program drove a 6% lift in email opens, a 134% lift in click rates, a 129% increase in pre-arrival website visits, 89% of viewers said the videos were helpful, and guest spend rose (pre-arrival +13%, overall trip +9%).
