Paddy Power Betfair collaborates with Sunbird to enhance data center capacity reporting & asset optimization

Paddy Power Betfair (PPB), a subsidiary of Flutter Entertainment, needed better visibility into data center capacity, trends, and future needs after rapid growth; their prior DCIM vendor could not keep up with increased reporting demands. To address this, PPB engaged Sunbird DCIM in a proof-of-concept and selected Sunbird DCIM’s DCIM software to improve capacity reporting and asset optimization.

Sunbird DCIM deployed its platform—covering asset and capacity management, change and environmental/power monitoring, BI and 3D visualization—and built targeted, customizable management reports and real-time complexity metrics. The result: Sunbird DCIM significantly reduced the time and effort for capacity reporting, decreased asset complexity and downtime, increased active users from about 5–10 to 80–100, and delivered greater accuracy and operational peace of mind while becoming a strategic partner to PPB.
