Tenaris, a Buenos Aires–based global manufacturer of steel pipes with operations and R&D centers across more than 15 countries, had established a corporate university to align and share knowledge but faced a limited, non-scalable LMS. The existing system couldn’t support complex curricula, integrate formal and informal learning from the company intranet, handle multiple languages, or accommodate both internal and external audiences.

Tenaris implemented SumTotal Learn (Enterprise and Extended Enterprise), integrated with SAP and Microsoft SharePoint, giving managers visibility into assigned curricula and learner progress and enabling TenarisUniversity to design and adapt learning structures.
