Coincheck, a Tokyo-based cryptocurrency exchange, rebuilt its customer-facing applications and security posture after a 2018 breach that resulted in the loss of $530 million in NEM tokens. With operations paused and a new security team formed, the company urgently needed a fast-to-deploy SaaS solution to centralize machine data, improve monitoring, and detect unauthorized activity across its AWS-hosted environment.
