Hemper, a small eCommerce company, needed to rapidly grow its email list and convert more site visitors into buyers. They partnered with Sumo and used Sumo’s List Builder tool to deploy a high-converting discount-code popup designed to capture emails and drive purchases.
Sumo implemented a timed, site‑wide popup (with logo, discount, giveaway, image, countdown timer, email capture and clear CTA) plus a success popup that immediately displayed the discount code. The campaign produced 29,062 email leads from 245,414 views (an 11.84% conversion rate), delivered 4,400 leads and 390 sales in the first month, and has continued to drive thousands of monthly subscribers and sales for Hemper.
