Hospice Palliative Care Ontario (HPCO) is Canada’s largest volunteer hospice palliative care organization, representing more than 180 community‑based providers of end‑of‑life care. HPCO needed a more efficient, easy‑to‑use system to manage direct mail and tax receipting, membership renewals, and communications without relying on technical staff or a third‑party vendor.
HPCO implemented Sumac, which streamlined direct mail preparation, sped the turnaround between donation receipt and thank‑you/tax receipts, and centralised member and contact management. The data conversion was smooth, the Sumac team was responsive, and the platform proved intuitive and easy to maintain—prompting HPCO to endorse Sumac to its membership.
