CrossFit ChalkBox, run by owner and coach Agnes Vanblarcum in Kent, England, grew quickly from a garage gym into a community-focused box with a strong kids program. As membership expanded, Agnes needed a way to track individual progress, keep small-class coaching effective, and maintain community connection—so CrossFit ChalkBox adopted SugarWOD to record scores, monitor trends, and engage members.

ChalkBox implemented SugarWOD during a benchmark “test week” and used automated class emails to drive adoption, resulting in nearly 90% of members joining in the first week. SugarWOD gave coaches nightly visibility into athlete performance, enabled timely coaching interventions, and increased peer feedback and engagement—helping boost members’ confidence and supporting ChalkBox’s continued growth (now about 120 members) and strong community outcomes.
