Beneva, a growing Canadian insurance and financial services company, was struggling with long hiring times for key roles and the high cost of turnover, especially in its sales advisor positions. To improve hiring, retention, and the quality of new hires, Beneva turned to SuccessFinder to better identify candidates who would become top performers and stay longer.

SuccessFinder built a role-specific high performer benchmark for sales advisors using data from high, mid, and low performers, then validated the model over an 18-month pilot. The results were strong: 93% of recommended hires met or exceeded expectations, while more than half of those below the benchmark failed to meet expectations on the job. Beneva has since improved hiring speed and efficiency, reduced turnover, and increased sales, and is expanding SuccessFinder to other roles across the organization.
