McKesson Canada, the Canadian division of McKesson, needed to support rapid growth in a highly regulated pharmaceutical market while improving hiring, onboarding, promotions, and leadership development. The company also wanted to reinforce its leadership framework and move faster with better insight into individuals and teams, so it turned to SuccessFinder for behavioral science-based talent assessment.

SuccessFinder was first used to assess career fit for senior internal and external candidates, then expanded across hiring, promotion, onboarding, team-building, and leadership development. McKesson Canada says SuccessFinder helped it make more confident non-traditional promotion decisions, reduce decision-making bias, build stronger teams, and improve career conversations; one example was a finance leader who moved into a general manager role and was later promoted to SVP, and in a 300-day women’s leadership program, 3 of 11 participants expanded or advanced their roles in the first phase.
