iA uses SuccessFinder’s Performance Predictor for recruiting and retaining talent

iA Financial Group, one of Canada’s largest insurance firms, relied heavily on hiring new sales representatives to drive growth, making recruitment and retention critical. The company was dissatisfied with its existing hiring test and needed a better way to identify candidates who would stay longer and perform strongly without narrowing the talent pool. iA worked with SuccessFinder and used its Performance Predictor to address these hiring challenges.

SuccessFinder developed customized profiles for iA’s Sales Representative and Sales Manager roles using the company’s own data and KPIs to define the traits of top performers. After a successful six-week pilot, the tool was rolled out to more than 300 users, and over 1,900 tests were completed in the first quarter. The profiles were linked to 84% more life insurance sales and 60% more savings and investments sales, while managers also gained a trusted, hard-to-fake way to explain fit to candidates and improve hiring decisions.
