A Subsalt Case Study
Symphony Care Network wanted to use its patient data with DataRobot to predict patient readmission risk but faced a major challenge. Utilizing the multi-tenant SaaS platform was difficult due to strict HIPAA regulations for Protected Health Information (PHI). This caused legal reviews and manual data work that delayed their AI projects for months, creating a significant bottleneck.
Subsalt implemented its generative database to create and manage fully synthetic, de-identified data on demand. This solution eliminated the privacy constraints, allowing Symphony to power its AI projects without risk. The results included a 95% reduction in the time to access data, from three months to under a day, with no loss in model performance, thereby unlocking many new projects.
