Liberty University, the nation’s largest private, nonprofit university, needed a better way to manage scheduling for the LaHaye Student Union and its multiple facilities. Its previous system made it difficult to see staff availability, avoid double-booking, and keep up with frequent shift changes, time-off requests, and call-outs, making a two-week schedule take 12–15 hours to build.

SubItUp provided a web-based scheduling platform that let managers and employees collaborate on schedules, track shift trades and requests, and automatically update changes in real time. With SubItUp, Perry Tate reduced schedule creation time to less than 2 hours every two weeks, an improvement of more than 80%, while also improving fairness and freeing up time for other priorities.
