Standard Metrics, formerly Quaestor, is an automated data platform that helps startups and investors share financial information. As the company grew, its existing login flow relied only on Google or Microsoft OAuth, which left some users unable to access the platform and created friction for customers trying to share information broadly. To solve this, Standard Metrics turned to Stytch’s Email Magic Links to add passwordless email authentication.

With Stytch, Standard Metrics was able to layer email-based sign-in onto its existing OAuth flows without a full rebuild, and the implementation took less than a day. The result was broader access for anyone with an email address, strong reliability, and a much better developer experience; within a few months, upwards of 35% of users were logging in through Stytch.
