Clearbit accelerates development by replacing in-house auth with Stytch

Clearbit, a B2B data intelligence company acquired by HubSpot, needed to replace its in-house authentication system as the business grew more complex. The team wanted to support a new product-led growth motion with secure, low-friction onboarding, while also meeting enterprise requirements like SSO, auto-provisioning, and custom organization-level settings. Clearbit chose Stytch’s B2B authentication solution, including passwordless login options and multi-tenant auth infrastructure, to meet those needs.

Stytch implemented a scalable B2B auth platform for Clearbit with features like magic links, OAuth social logins, organization discovery, SSO, device fingerprinting, and support for future RBAC needs. This helped Clearbit improve onboarding, reduce spam and abuse, and significantly reduce the engineering burden of maintaining auth in-house. While no hard numerical metrics were provided, Clearbit said Stytch enabled them to handle growing customer demands with far less engineering effort and greater flexibility.
