RealFace - Customer Case Study

RealFace, an Israeli artificial intelligence company, was building facial recognition software and looking for a tech partner that could integrate its library written in C and take over development from a previous company. The team also needed developers who could understand the logic of the AI face recognition system and work with GPUImage and the dlib face detector. STX Next was brought in for an end-to-end mobile project involving project takeover, manual testing, mobile development, and continuous integration.

STX Next started with one developer on the iOS platform, then expanded the work to Android after RealFace received the MVP. The team grew to five people, and the partnership continued until RealFace was acquired by Apple in 2017. The customer said STX Next met its expectations for quality of work, timeliness, and clear communication.
