Podimo, a platform for podcast and audiobook lovers and creators, partnered with STX Next to enhance their application. Their challenge was an Elasticsearch system that delivered irrelevant search results, struggling to prioritize popular content despite having rich user preference data.

STX Next optimized Podimo's Elasticsearch settings and implemented a Learning To Rank machine learning model to reposition search results based on user preferences. They also integrated semantic search using BERT for natural language queries. As a result, the app now delivers more pertinent search results for its users. STX Next continues to work on feature updates and maintenance for the live application.
