NOTA NOTA launches IoT perfume app with STX Next and $660,000 in angel funding

NOTA NOTA, a Saudi Arabian eCommerce company offering a personal perfume-making IoT device, needed to build a new app from scratch to replace their proof-of-concept. Their challenge was to develop a cross-platform mobile application that could reliably control their machine via Bluetooth, streamline user flows, expand social features, and meet international app store requirements. They partnered with STX Next for a full-stack solution using React Native and Django.

STX Next developed the new NOTA NOTA app using React Native for efficient cross-platform development, which significantly reduced costs and development time. The solution included a redesigned user experience for creating and sharing perfumes, robust Bluetooth functionality, and integrated analytics. The successful project, which began in 2018, helped NOTA NOTA win an iF Design Award and raise $660,000 in angel funding.
