Artistic Freedom Initiative launches a new website with Studio Simpatico after 3,000 assistance applications

Artistic Freedom Initiative (AFI), a nonprofit providing legal and resettlement aid to artists at risk, faced a challenge with its outdated website. The site no longer reflected the scale and complexity of their expanded programs and global operations, making it difficult for donors to contribute and for artists to find help. They partnered with Studio Simpatico for a comprehensive web design and WordPress development project to create a new digital presence.

Studio Simpatico designed and built a new WordPress site that balanced minimalism with expressive, dynamic elements to reflect AFI's dual identity as an arts and human rights organization. The solution included a modular system for easy content updates, an integrated donation platform, multilingual support, and a new flagship feature called the Artistic Freedom Monitor. The new website successfully provides donors with clear calls to action, offers artists a clear path to assistance, and positions AFI as a leading authority in its field.
