A Studio Elsa Case Study
Studio Elsa partnered with Circle K to address the challenge of creating a touchless checkout experience for customers during the early months of the pandemic. The goal was to develop a grab-and-go system, called EasyWay, that would allow shoppers to avoid touching keypads, card readers, or interacting with another person at checkout.
The solution implemented by Studio Elsa was a step-by-step digital interface designed to build user trust. This included an onboarding sequence and a checkout station sequence with clear copy and motion concepts to guide customers through the process of having their items automatically tracked and paying with a tap or scan. EasyWay was successfully piloted in Circle K stores in Arizona, providing a fully frictionless checkout experience for customers.
