Audemars Piguet creates a 200-person community hub with Studio Banana

Studio Banana was engaged by the prestigious watchmaker Audemars Piguet to design a new-generation workplace at its Le Locle manufacture. The challenge was to support the company's pioneering vision by creating an innovation-driven environment that would enhance the wellbeing of its master watchmakers, foster a sense of community, and provide a memorable experience for both employees and VIP visitors, all within an avant-garde industrial building.

The solution was a human-centered design integrating biophilic principles and flexible, activity-based workspaces. Studio Banana created a central community Piazza to encourage collaboration, optimized production ateliers for ergonomics and light, and crafted an immersive VIP retail experience. The project successfully forged a dynamic environment that boosts employee belonging, supports agile work dynamics, and establishes a new global wayfinding standard for the brand, materializing Audemars Piguet's forward-thinking company culture.
