W3C launches redesigned website in 3 years with Studio 24

The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), the iconic web standards body, faced the challenge of redesigning one of the world's longest-running websites to improve its organization, usability, and brand communication. Studio 24 was selected to partner on this project, which involved developing a new content, URL, and technical strategy for the massive site amidst the unique difficulties of working with a vast amount of legacy content and a global stakeholder community.

Studio 24 executed the project by working in the open, sharing progress and key decisions publicly. The solution involved a complete redesign with a strong focus on accessibility, culminating in the launch of a new website in June 2023. The work by Studio 24 was recognized for its excellence in accessibility with a 2023 Gaady Award, making the valuable W3C resource even more accessible to everyone without sacrificing design or usability.
