cbm improves humanitarian relief access with Studio 24, with 67% of users saying HHoT improved how they work

Studio 24 partnered with cbm, a charity working with people with disabilities, to solve a critical challenge. People with disabilities are often the last to receive aid during disasters, and field workers lacked practical, accessible guidance for inclusive relief services. The client needed a reliable tool that could function offline in remote areas with no internet connection.

Studio 24 developed a cost-effective progressive web app (PWA) called the Humanitarian Hands on Tool (HHoT). Built with Drupal 8 for content management, the app provides offline access to searchable task cards with practical advice. The solution was a success, with 127 users in the first month and 67% of users reporting improved work. Most importantly, the app helped support the delivery of emergency aid to 97,000 people.
