Genesis integrated Vocera hands-free communications with its EHR so stat orders automatically generate high-priority audible alerts and text messages to the unit charge nurse, delivering orders within 10–30 seconds. The quick, verifiable alerts improved workflow and responsiveness, enabled nurses to focus on patients rather than charts, and contributed to faster, more accurate care — reducing delays that can lengthen hospital stays and supporting better alarm and patient-flow management.
