University of Oxford deploys 441 seismic nodes in 2.5 days with STRYDE

The University of Oxford needed to conduct microseismic monitoring of a water injection at a geothermal well but faced significant challenges, including a very tight three-week project timeline, complex land access negotiations with over 20 private landowners, and a constrained budget. They partnered with STRYDE and utilized their STRYDE Nodes™ to overcome these hurdles.

STRYDE supplied 450 of their miniature seismic nodes, which were deployed rapidly by a small team. The solution's small size eased land access, its long battery life enabled 28 days of continuous recording, and its low cost fit the budget. STRYDE's support ensured the university successfully captured crucial baseline and monitoring data, with 441 nodes deployed in just 2.5 days and retrieved in one day, demonstrating significant operational efficiency.
